The Vice President (VP) of Global Operations is a talented, highly organized, and execution-minded professional in our growing global team. The VP of Global Operations oversees the sales, marketing, business development, portfolio management, market entry strategies and the overall P/L performance of our global operations. The VP of Global Operations is a core member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for ensuring that the full resources of our organization are strategically and optimally managed and deployed in support of our mission and new strategic priorities during a new era of organizational growth and scale that includes entering the medical device-enabled medications. This includes oversight and accountability for strategic implementation, responsibility for operational effectiveness, and value-added contribution to team building and organizational effectiveness.

  • Strategic Planning and Execution  as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, including:
    • Contribute to developing and implementing strategic priorities that will advance the company's mission. This includes new therapeutic areas, Medical Devices-Enable Medicines, Value Added Medicines (VAM)
  • Organizational Finances in partnership with our Finance and Operations Manager, including:
    • Development and management of annual budget
    • Annual audit and development of Financial Statements
    • Organizational purchasing and vendor relationships
  • Sales, Marketing and Registrations in collaboration with the Global Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Regulatory Teams, including:
    • Meet sales targets through excellence in commercial & technical processes
    • Develop in depth understanding of the key customers' business model and strategy
    • Manage all aspects of customer relationship; technical support, forecast and forecast changes, pricing, contracts, IP and product training
    • In conjunction with budget planning, develop and update focus market plans
    • Feed marketing & business support with up to date customer and competitor information on market and product, pricing and production volumes
    • Drive sales projects and manage pipeline in sales force, utilize sales excellence tools to move projects faster towards closure
  • New product pipeline development in collaboration with the R&D Team and R&D Partners, including:
    • Lead the cross-functional task of creating, selecting and allocating new product opportunities and ensure on-time launch of products
    • Look for new opportunities and develop medical, scientific and commercial platform to deliver to market gaps
    • Develop new product pipeline of innovative solutions, with VAM (Value Added Medicine) orientation and focus on assigned therapeutic areas and medical devices


Extensive travel is required for this position up to 50% annually



  • Minimum 15 years operations, sales and marketing management experience in global matrix pharma organizations
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or relevant Life-Sciences field required
  • Master's degree in Business Administration required
  • Experience in leading, coaching and empowering global teams
  • Experience in budgeting process, developing budget projections, overseeing expense management processes, and P/L management
  • Proven track record of strong portfolio development, in-licensing, out-licensing, contract manufacturing
  • Previous experience in Middle-East/ African markets required
  • Previous experience with medical devices and healthcare technologies is a plus
  • Previous experience in an entrepreneurial environment is a plus
  • Written and spoken fluency in English and Arabic is compulsory, knowledge of French is a plus.
